I designed this logo for a pharmaceutical company’s drug, Tirosint. The drug is made by a privately owned pharmaceutical company, founded in Lugano by a group of Swiss biologists. The drug is used to treat hypothyroidism in adults and what makes Tirosint different from other hypothyroid treatments is that the pill is made without typical excipients, making it easier for the patient to tolerate, digest, and ultimately absorb. For the look, the client referenced butterflies and an overall feeling of weightlessness which is how I arrived at the translucent wing shape.
